Mount Zion Christian Baptist Church Usher Ministry

Let all things be done decently and in order (1 Corinthians 14:40)
To be like Salt, a city upon a hill and a lamp stand (Mathew 5:13-15)
Ushering is like sale which make everything palatable and serves as preservative against deterioration. Add a tang of joy to a churchgoers’ Sunday morning instead of a fringe of drabness. One flickering candle brighten conversation in a room and bring a inner feeling of warmth and joy, a lamp dispels the darkness and brings warmth to a room, so the ministry of the Ushers can make a similar intangible contribution to all who experience the inner effort of pleasure in people. Ushers must do his/her work in power of the Holy Spirits bringing glory to God in the Lords house on the Lords day.
